Recipe: Acupuncturist approved digestion-friendly smoothie

When a patient comes to me with digestive issues and bloating the first change I ask them to make is no cold water and NO COLD SMOOTHIES! Over the years I have learned that for many, a life without smoothies is just not worth living, so now there are no excuses.

This smoothie uses fruits which are warming in nature, @madeof_____ protein which is made with whey isolate that is easy to digest due to its low lactose content and hemp seeds which are incredible for regulating bowel movements!

Recipe
  • 1 scoop @madeof_____ protein
  • 1 cup milk alternative of your choice
  • 2 peaches - room temperature
  • Handful of raspberries - room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon hemp seeds
  • *no ice, no frozen fruit
